The rivalry between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals continues to reach new levels of tension.

 

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase are the subjects of a week's worth of verbal jabs back and forth, following Chase making a comment about Patrick Mahomes.

 

Kelce's older brother Jason, an offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles, explains the situation on the New Heights Podcast.

 

While Chase may be just standing up for his quarterback, Mahomes and Kelce don't seem to care for the way he said it. Kelce says he hopes Chase can back up the talk.

 

Kelce and the Chiefs take on Chase and the Bengals on New Years Eve in Kansas City, with a likely chance of a potential playoff matchup for the third consecutive season.
