There will be a Kansas State alumni team taking part in The Basketball Tournament for a one-million dollar prize later this summer.

 

Team Purple and Black will be comprised of Wildcat legends from a variety of different eras, coming together to play in one of the biggest basketball events of the year. The roster, which was announced yesterday, includes Henry Walker, Martavious Irving, Marcus Foster, DJ Johnson, Jacob Pullen, and Khalid Thomas.

 

The alumni team will be coached by Jordan Henriquez-Roberts, with Clent Steward and Curtis Kelly serving as assistant coaches. Rodney McGruder is serving as the team's general manager.

 

Team Purple and Black is the 2-seed in the Wichita Regional of the TBT tournament, and will play in the regional from July 20-25.
