Emporia State Hires New Baseball Coach

 

A former Jayhawks assistant and Kansas State head coach is the new head coach at Emporia State.

 

Brad Hill was introduced as the fifth head coach of Emporia State in the last 50 years.

 

Hill served as an assistant at Kansas from 1991-94 before serving as the head coach in Manhattan from 2004-18. He is the all-time winningest coach in KSU baseball history.

 

The resume for Hill is impressive, boasting two Big 12 Coach of the Year awards, four NCAA regionals, and the first conference title for Kansas State in 2013. He also won a national championship with D2 Central Missouri in 2003.

 

Hill is an Emporia State alumnus and has overseen 64 players be drafted to the MLB in his time at Kansas State and Central Missouri.
