Wildcats Star Returning for Senior Season

One of the superstars from the Elite Eight team last season is returning to Manhattan for his senior season.

Nae'Qwan Tomlin announced yesterday that he will remove his name from the NBA Draft and will finish his career at Kansas State. Forward Keyontae Johnson was medically cleared and will remain in the NBA Draft.

Tomlin is considered a world class athlete, standing 6-feet-10 inches tall and starring at junior college Chipola College in Florida before his career with the Wildcats.

The forward averaged 10.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game last season for Kansas State, and will look to take on a larger role with the departure of Johnson.

Kansas State will enter the 2023-24 season with Tomlin and new addition Tylor Perry as the top scoring options for a team looking to replicate the success from last season.
