4-Star Running Back Makes 5th Visit to Jayhawks

One of the highest rated running backs in the Class of 2025 has made a fifth unofficial visit to Lawrence.

Running back Justin Thurman started his career in St. Louis before moving to Florida last season. Thurman was back in the area at the Six Star Football Camp in Kansas City, where he was named MVP of the camp.

Thurman has emerged as a top tier running back in his class, and has a number of offers, but it was the Kansas Jayhawks who offered the first scholarship to the young star.

Thurman says he's been impressed with both the vision and philosophy of the Kansas offense and how they implement running backs, as well as the authenticity from the coaching staff and how much they seem to care.

Thurman also holds offers from Tennessee, Auburn, Kansas State, Iowa, and Notre Dame. He is also scheduled to visit Alabama this summer.
