Jayhawks Legend to Play in Alumni Tournament

One of the most dominant forwards of the Bill Self era will be suiting up for the Kansas alumni team this summer in The Basketball Tournament.

Thomas Robinson, who scored nearly 700 points as a junior in 2012 and led Kansas to a national title game appearance, was revealed as the newest member of the Mass Street alumni team.

TBT was created in 2014 and is a 64-team March Madness style tournament with teams of college basketball and NBA legends and stars.

Robinson joins Tyshawn Taylor and Keith Langford on the Jayhawks alumni team. Langford is one of the greatest scorers in Kansas basketball history, while Taylor played with Robinson as the point guard in the early 2010s.

The Mass Street team will be coached by KU greats Marcus and Markieff Morris, who are ineligible to play due to active NBA contracts. Regionals for Mass Street will be between July 20-25.
