The Kansas Jayhawks added more size to their roster, landing a commit who is the older brother of a former Jayhawk star currently playing in the NBA.

 

6-foot-10 forward Parker Braun announced his intent to transfer to Lawrence, after spending the past two seasons with the Santa Clara Broncos. Braun is the older brother of former KU guard Christian Braun, who is currently playing with the Denver Nuggets.

 

Parker Braun began his career at Missouri, but did not log many minutes. He transferred to Santa Clara, where he spent the last two years and received his degree.

 

Braun is from Overland Park, and averaged 7.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, and two assists per game this past season, while leading Santa Clara to a third place finish in the West Coast Conference.
