The top ranked basketball player in the class of 2024 has narrowed his list of schools down to six, with the Kansas Jayhawks making the cut.
Tre Johnson, a 6-foot-5 guard from Dallas, is widely considered the most skilled offensive player in the country, with the fastest path to the NBA. He announced earlier this week the top six schools he's considering, which includes Kentucky, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Alabama, and Baylor.
Johnson has already made a trip to Lawrence for a visit, and is expected to make his final decision before he competes in the Nike Peach Jam, which takes place July 3-9.
Johnson is averaging 18.2 points per game in his junior season at Lake Highlands High School in Dallas.
