Chiefs Sign Former KSU Defensive Back

Kansas State football is slowly becoming a developmental program for the Chiefs, as the world champions sign another former Wildcat.

Former KSU cornerback Ekow Boye-Doe has signed a one year deal with the Chiefs, according to his agency, VMG Sports.

Boye-Doe attended the Chiefs rookie minicamp last week after going undrafted last month. The former Wildcat appeared in 42 games for KSU, including 35 career starts. He started alongside Colts 2nd round pick Julius Brents last season.

The defensive back is a Lawrence product that will compete for a spot in the Chiefs secondary, after 74 tackles, 13 passes defended, and a forced fumble in his career in Manhattan.
