As the time to enter the transfer portal comes to a close, the eight member of the 2022-23 Jayhawks has decided to jump in.

 

Ernest Udeh Jr is a former McDonald's All-American and will continue his career elsewhere following a freshman campaign with Kansas. Both Udeh and Zuby Ejiofor have elected to enter the portal following the addition of former Michigan star Hunter Dickinson.

 

Udeh did not see much playing time in his freshman season, but emerged late in the year with high energy and effort with rebounding and interior defense, following an injury to Ejiofor.

 

The Jayhawks now have three open scholarship spots, although one may be filled later today with the looming decision of five-star forward Mackenzie Mgbako.
