Red Raven Volleyball Player Commits to D1 School

An impressive program-building first season of the Deardin Kelley era with Coffeyville Community College Volleyball has another milestone.

Sophomore outside hitter Miyah White announced her intent to commit to Division 1 program Mississippi Valley State University. White says there was an instant connection with the MVSU coaching staff, and that she's excited to start the next chapter of her volleyball career.

White is from San Antonio, Texas, and played her high school volleyball at Wagner before spending last season with the Red Ravens. She says that Coffeyville became a home away from home, and that her favorite memories are all of the time spent with her teammates, coaches, classmates, and teachers both on and off the volleyball court.

The Red Ravens were extemely successful offensively last season, with over 1400 team kills and a .167 hitting percentage. It would seem this won't be the last player that moves to the D1 ranks in the Deardin Kelley era.
