The Kansas Jayhawks basketball program pays homage to baseball season, hitting a home run and landing the top player in the transfer portal.

 

Star forward Hunter Dickinson, perhaps the most accomplished player to ever enter the transfer portal, announced his intentions to transfer to Kansas earlier today.

 

The Jayhawks land the services of the two-time All Big Ten player, and 2021 Freshman of the Year, over schools such as Kentucky, Maryland, Villanova, Georgetown, and Michigan.

 

Senior college basketball writer Matt Norlander says that this addition makes the Jayhawks title contenders.

 

Kansas will enter 2023-24 as one of the favorites to win the Big 12, as well as advance to the Final Four.
