Tylor Perry Commits to Kansas State

Former Red Raven star guard and national champion Tylor Perry was considered by many the top player available in the transfer portal, with offers from Kansas State, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, and Florida.

He appeared on the Field of 68 podcast with Jeff Goodman to announce his decision.

Perry was named Conference USA Player of the Year and led North Texas to an NIT championship, while also being named NIT Most Valuable Player. He averaged 17.3 points per game and ranked fourth nationally in 3-pointers made, while leading the Mean Green to a 31-7 record.

Perry had nothing but good things to say about the coach who believed in him first at the collegiate level, Red Raven coach Jay Herkelman.

The senior guard will play a large role for the Wildcats this season, helping replace the production of Markquis Nowell as Kansas State looks to build off of their Elite Eight run last season.
