Jayhawk football looks to continue building off of their best season in 15 years, and had a pair of exciting recruits in Lawrence over the weekend.

 

Michael Boganowski, the top recruit in the state of Kansas, as well as Wyatt Gilmore, one of the top defensive ends in Minnesota, were both touring the facilities and campus.

 

Boganowski has been to Lawrence several times in the past year, and has met with the coaches, training staff, and sports performance team. The Junction City recruit will schedule official visits in the near future, and is currently projected to KU by Rivals, over schools such as Iowa State, Kansas State, and Oklahoma.

 

Gilmore is a defensive end that has had a busy month, visiting KU, Kansas State, Iowa, and Oklahoma. Gilmore has premiere athleticism and energy, and has already received nearly 20 D1 offers.

 

The Jayhawks currently have four commits for the class of 2024, but only one defensive player.
