An elite defender and valuable leader of the 2022-2023 Red Raven basketball team has announced the next chapter of his career.

 

Nathan Johnson, a sophomore from Kansas City, Kansas, will continue his collegiate career with the Lindenwood Lions, a Division 1 school out of the Ohio Valley Conference.

 

Johnson was perhaps the strongest and most consistent defender on the Ravens this past season, and a crucial leadership presence as well. The scoring came around in the second half of the season, finishing the year averaging 12.3 points per game on 47% shooting, including a season high 31 against Barton on February 4th.

 

Lindenwood finished the season 11-21, but surged late in the season on an unlikely run to the conference championship game, finishing just one win shy of the NCAA Tournament.
