Red Ravens Split with OK Wesleyan JV

 

The Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens split their third consecutive home doubleheader, coming away with a 1-1 afternoon against Oklahoma Wesleyan University JV.

 

Red Ravens stuggled on the mound in the opener, allowing 14 runs to the OKWU offense. The defense also had a tough opener, committing four miscues during Game 1. Coffeyville native Jadyn Clark hit her first career home run in the loss.

 

The Ravens were able to bounce back in the second game, winning 12-7. A trio of CCC players hit home runs in Game 2, with Summer McAlister, Grace Batdorf, and Alex Ginnis all leaving the yard for the Ravens. CCC also collected 14 hits in the second game.

 

The Red Ravens sit at 5-15 on the season, and 3-3 on their home field. They will be back in action for another home doubleheader tomorrow afternoon against Sterling JV.
