The Kansas Jayhawks move closer to clinching the top overall seed for the NCAA Tournament with a 78-61 win over West Virginia in the Big XII quarterfinals.

 

Jalen Wilson, fresh off a conference player of the year award, had 22 points and 11 rebounds as the Jayhawks improve to 26-6 on the season.

 

Gradey Dick also added 18 points for KU, as the Jayhawks outclassed West Virginia in nearly every category.

 

KU will advance to the Big XII semifinals, and will battle Iowa State today at 6 p.m. CT with a trip to the conference championship game up for grabs.
