The Lady Ravens would not relinquish a 4th quarter lead against Hutchinson in the third matchup of the season, hanging on for a thrilling victory and advancing to the Region VI semifinals.

 

Coffeyville defeated the Blue Dragons by a final score of 73-68 last night, advancing to Wichita as part of the final four teams remaining in the region tournament.

 

Following a defensive opening quarter, the Ravens began to heat up from the field in the 2nd quarter, converting on 11 total three-pointers in the game.

 

Kyleigh Ortiz had a game high 26 points, and was also incredibly efficient, knocking down 8 of 11 shots from behind the arc. Jordynn Conner also had 11 points and 10 rebounds in the win.

 

The Ravens pull off their biggest win of the season, and are playing inspired and physical basketball at the most important time of the year. They will travel to Friends University for the semifinals, in which they will face top seed Dodge City at 1 p.m. CT on Friday.
