Red Ravens Sweep Seward as Regional Playoffs Near


The Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens finished off their final regular season home game in style, with a convincing doubleheader sweep of Seward County.


The Lady Ravens won Game 1 76-66, and clinched the 5 seed for the KJCCC Regional Tournament in the process. Makenzie Davis had a career high 18 points to lead CCC in scoring.


The Lady Ravens will face either Garden City, Pratt, or NW Kansas Tech in the first round of the Regional Playoffs this weekend.


The men's team kept their hopes of a regular season conference title alive, beating the Saints in Game 2 94-68. The Ravens remain one game back of Dodge City for the top overall seed. Landon Glasper led the Ravens with 21 points on the afternoon.


The Red Ravens will conclude their 2022-2023 regular season on Wednesday evening against NW Kansas Tech. Tip is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT on KUSN 98.1 FM.
