A back and forth first half resulted in a dominant second half by the Central Raiders, as they upset Sedan in our High School Game of the Week.

 

The Sedan Blue Devils had rarely been truly tested this season, entering last night with a 19-1 record on the season. The Blue Devils struggled mightily with turnovers, and seemed to have costly giveaways whenever they attempted to close the gap.

 

Junior Tristan Wade did convert on six free throws in the second quarter to give Sedan a three point halftime lead, but Central outscored the Blue Devils 34-17 in the second half.

 

The Raiders get positive momentum heading towards postseason play, as they improve to 13-10 on the season. Sedan falls to 19-2.
