The Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens suffered their first loss on the diamond this spring, falling 6-4 to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.

 

It was a tight affair all afternoon, with NEO scoring the first three runs of the day, before CCC rallied and took the lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. However, the Ravens could not close the door, and surrendered three runs in the ninth, coming up short.

 

Kaden Arr is credited the win for the Norsemen, while Ryan Leiker suffers the loss for the Red Ravens. Coffeyville was led by sophomore designated hitter Ryan Ready, who had a pair of hits and two runs batted in on the afternoon.

 

The Red Ravens will return to the diamond tomorrow, as they travel to Edmond Oklahoma to play in the University of Central Oklahoma Festival.
