Red Raven Guard Kennady Roach Prepares for Next Chapter

A valuable member of the Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens is looking forward to the next chapter of her basketball career.

Kennady Roach, a 5'10" sophomore from Vinita, Oklahoma, has been a critical wing for the Lady Ravens the past two seasons, with the combination of 3-point shooting and stout defense.

Earlier in the season, Roach announced she would be continuing her career with the Missouri Southern State Lions following the season. Roach says that the connections she has made at MSSU and the relationships she has built with the coaching staff made it an easy decision.

The sophomore guard takes pride in being a leader for the Lady Ravens, both on the court with her game, and off the court with her mentality and attitude. Roach says she has a fantastic relationship with Coach Tony Turner, and the two have always seemed to be on the same page.

Roach is averaging 10.4 points per game this season, including a career high 31 points in a win over Garden City earlier this year. Roach and the Lady Ravens still have plenty to play for in the home stretch of this season, however the future appears both bright and exciting for the sharpshooter guard.
