The Kansas Jayhawks were able to pick up their 20th win of the season on Saturday, defeating the Oklahoma Sooners 78-55 in Norman.

 

Jalen Wilson bounced back after an uncharacteristic off night against Texas, with 18 points and 5 steals in the win. The Jayhawks defense was sensational, forcing 24 turnovers and limiting the Sooners to just 35% shooting.

 

Kansas needed a win to keep pace with the Texas Longhorns at the top of the Big XII standings, and the Jayhawks advance to 8-4 in conference play with the win. The Sooners have spiraled to the bottom of the conference, with this game being their fourth consecutive double digit loss.

 

The Jayhawks will be back in action Tuesday in Stillwater as they take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. CT with tip at 8 on Greatest Hits 104.1 FM.
