Independence Community College head coach has resigned effective immediately.  Jason Martin recently completed his seventh season, his third as head coach.

Martin started at ICC as the secondary coach before moving to defensive coordinator when Kiyoshi Harris took over as the head coach. Martin took over as the head coach when Harris left for Boise State. Martin was 17-9 as a head coach at ICC. Martin's best season as head coach was in 2021 with a record of 8-2, but 2022 was his worst season finishing 4-5.

Leading the Pirates' defense, Martin had over 30 athletes move on to NCAA Division-I programs. Keith Donerson has been named interim head coach while ICC begins a nationwide search for its next head coach.
