Chiefs Meet Eagles in Super Bowl LVII

The weekend of Super Bowl LVII has finally arrived, and the Kansas City Chiefs look for their third championship as they battle the Philadelphia Eagles in Glendale on Sunday.

The Chiefs were able to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Cincinnati Bengals en route to the biggest stage in football, while the Eagles knocked out the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers.

This matchup features the two teams that many consider the best teams in the NFL this season, both boasting 14-3 records and ending with the top seed and overall record in their respective conference.

The quarterback matchup is the biggest storyline, with newly crowned MVP Patrick Mahomes facing off against 24 year old phenom Jalen Hurts, who has taken leaps forward this season to emerge as a superstar in the NFL.

Both teams also boast a top tier receiving threat, with the Chiefs having All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce, and the Eagles benefiting from wide receivers AJ Brown and Devonta Smith.

The Eagles are widely considered the superior team on both the offensive and defensive lines, but will have their toughest test of the season as they look to win the battle in the trenches against Kansas City. The Eagles currently sit as 1.5 point favorites in Super Bowl LVII.

Coverage of the big game begins on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT on the Mighty 690, with kickoff at 5:30.
