Field Kindley girls basketball completes the season sweep of Pittsburg for the first time in 10 years with a 45-26 win. The Nado boys fall 60-42.

 

The Lady Nado combined good shooting and tough defense to come away with the 19-point victory holding Pittsburg to just 12 points through three quarters and hitting six threes in the game. Coffeyville was led by Rya Hightower who had a season-high of 15 points going 4/5 from beyond the arc and adding four blocks on the defensive end. Savannah Viets and Chaunte Porter would both add seven points.

 

The Nado boys kept it close in the first half trailing 25-23 but Pittsburg's Mason English would pick things up in the second half to help the Dragons pull away. English would score 23 of his 36 points in the second half 14 of which came in the fourth quarter. Keshawn Hayes led Coffeyville in scoring with 15.

 

The Lady Nado improve to 5-9 on the season and the Nado boys drop to 5-9 on the year. Coffeyville will take on Columbus on Monday night starting at 6:00pm.
