Field Kindley girls and boys basketball split their season openers at the Ty Hewitt Memorial Tournament in Nowata. The girls fell in the first game of the night 66-33 to Oologah and the boys pick up the win 63-41 over Chelsea.

The girls were led in scoring by Taiylor Caron with 10 and Kaylin Caron with 8. The Lady Nado are back in action on Friday at 4:00pm.

JoJo Hernandez led the Nado with 18 points shooting 5/9 from the three-point line. Ten Nado players scored with seven of them scoring five or more. The boys are back in action on Thursday at 8:30pm.
