The Coffeyville Community College Lady Ravens stumbled for the first time in conference play last night.
CCC came up short on the road against Dodge City by a final score of 86-74. Coffeyville's best stretch of the evening came in the third quarter, where they cut the Dodge lead to four, but it wasn't enough.
Leah Mafua led the Conquistadors with 25 points on the night, and Dodge was able to win the turnover battle, as well as capitalize on more free throws.
Jordynn Conner and Cheyenne Banks each had 18 points for the Red Ravens, however 21 total turnovers and only four made 3-point shots had CCC playing catch-up for the majority of the night.
Dodge City improves to 7-1 on the season, and 2-0 in conference play. Coffeyville drops to 6-3, with a 2-1 conference record.
The Red Ravens will be back in action on Saturday on the road against 1-7 Colby.
