The Coffeyville Red Ravens wrapped up their 2022 regular season home slate with a Wednesday evening matchup with the #3 Cowley CC Tigers. The Red Ravens were playing from behind most of the night, and Cowley was able to snap CCC’s 8 match winning streak with a straight sets win 25-15, 25-16, 25-16.

 

It was Pink Out night for the Red Raven supporters, and the crowd delivered the energy and atmosphere needed for an upset. But, according to head coach Deardin Kelley, the Tigers brought a speed element that hasn't matched up with Coffeyville yet this season.

 

Coach Kelley was proud of the team’s will to hang with a top tier program on this night, and proud of the team’s growth over the course of the season as a whole. 

 

 

The Red Ravens will travel on the road for their last two regular season matches, facing Metropolitan CC on Friday evening, before wrapping up the regular season against Fort Scott on Wednesday.
