NFL Punter Hosts Camp for Chetopa Football

An NFL rookie hosts a football camp in Chetopa. Miami Dolphins Punter Tommy Heatherly says it has been quite the journey from Grove, OK to NEO to FIU and now the Dolphins.

Heatherly is competing for the starting punting job with 13-year-veteran and Super Bowl Champion Thomas Morstead. He says he likes the challenge of competing with someone who has done it as long as Morstead.

Heatherly says he wants to not only teach high school athletes about punting and kicking but also how it can relate to life.  Dolphins rookies report to training camp on July 19th. Heatherly will compete for the starting job throughout camp and the preseason. If he doesn't make the 53-man roster there is still a chance for him to end up on the practice squad.
