A couple of local high school athletes earn gold at the state track competition.

From Independence Nala Burns is State Champ in girls' 100 meters.

Landrea Sears from Sedan crossed the line first in TWO events winning gold in Girls 100-meter Hurdles and 300-meter Hurdles. Congratulations go out to Nala and Landrea. That is quite an accomplishment ladies!
