Nado Shutout in Season Opener

Field Kindley Golden Tornado baseball starts the season off with a 13-0 loss against Parsons.
The Vikings got the game started early with a three run first inning. The Nado struggled on both sides of the ball only collecting three hits on the day by Mason Lochner, Greg Frazier and Joseph Neuenschwander. It was a rough day on the mound for the Nado starter Ty Wintjen, who allowed nine runs on four hits over one and two-thirds innings. Greg Frazier and Jeremiah Elrod entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and one-third innings and both allowing one run.
Head Coach Will Owens says they came out flat and let too many things snowball for them which created some big innings for Parsons. The Nado are back in action today taking on Cherryvale.
