Parsons Picks Up Both Over Coffeyville

Field Kindley drops both matchups on the road at Parsons, with the girls falling 72-30 and the boys 70-63.

Parsons would start the girl's game on a 21-0 run and never look back. The Lady Vikings made 14 threes on the night and were led by Eliana Valentin-Florence with 23. Taiylor Caron would lead the Lady Nado with 10.

In the boy's matchup, the Nado would start strong getting out to a three-point lead at the end of the first quarter 19-16. They would lead by as much as 10 in the second quarter and would take a six-point 39-33 lead into halftime. Fouls became an issue as Ethan Viets, Caden Herring and Griffin Adamson would all spend time on the bench in foul trouble. Viets and Herring would eventually foul out. The Vikings would capitalize taking a third-quarter 49-45 lead. With the Vikings starting to pull away, Aaron Tunstall would find Keshawn Hayes for a wide-open three to try and grab some momentum but Parsons answered right back. The Nado would get the fourth-quarter lead down to as much as four but never could regain the lead. Zay Logan and Ethan Viets led Coffeyville with 17 points and the Vikings were led by Jessie Jones with 22.

Coffeyville is back on the road for their final regular-season away game taking on Chanute.
