Several SEK stars at the 8-man level are moving on to the next stage of their football careers.

Sedan's Dameion Hatten has committed to McKendree University in Illnois, where he will play on the defensive line. The Bearcats are at the Division II level and play in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Hatten's Sedan teammate, Brec Long, will stay closer to home and play just across the Missouri border at Missouri Southern. The Lions are part of the MIAA and are also Division II. He has committed as a linebacker.

Finally, West Elk's Wesley Young will stay in Kansas and has committed to Emporia State as a defensive lineman. The Hornets are also part of the MIAA.
