Nado Drop Both in Ottawa

Both teams fall on the road tonight as the Nado girls lose 42-22 and the Nado boys fall 34-32.

In the girl's matchup, Coffeyville would struggle to find an offensive rhythm trailing 14-3 after the first quarter. The Lady Nado would pick up the scoring in the second but the Ottawa lead proved to be too much to overcome. Taiylor Caron led Coffeyville with 9. Ottawa was led by 15 from Brooklyn Hadl and 11 from Sofia Ficken.

Points were a premium in the boy's matchup.  Coffeyville struggled to convert the free throws only shooting 6/15 and that would be the difference in the game.  Ethan Viets got a steal to tie the game up and then Jake Titus for Ottawa hit two free throws to give the Cyclones the lead back.  Viets had a chance for the win as his half-court shot just missed off the front of the rim.  Coffeyville is off Friday and will be back in action next Tuesday.
