Despite the great second-half effort, the Red Ravens men fall short losing to Southern Arkansas University Tech 78-74. The Rockets opened the game on a 17-0 run as CCC looked lost both on offense and defense. SAU Tech used a 40% three-point shooting effort to maintain that lead heading into half 45-30. The Rockets Allen Taylor led the way with 15 first-half points.

Some great shooting in the second half by Dayshawn Wiley helped cut the lead all the way down to two points at one point, but CCC just couldn't finish the comeback. Wiley finished with 22 points on 7/11 shooting from beyond the arc. Love Bettis would add 19 points for CCC but struggled shooting going 7/19 from the floor and 6/12 from beyond the arc. The Red Ravens head into Region 6 play 3-3. They'll be on the road taking a familiar foe in a Championship rematch in Cowley.
