Nado Win Final Game of Season

Field Kindley picks up the win in their last game of the season beating Fort Scott 19-8.

The Nado struck early with an interception by Kanian White on Fort Scott's first drive. White returned the pick to the Fort Scott two yard line and FB Joseph Neuenshwander punched in one play later for the 7-0 lead. After another Tigers' turnover Neuenshwander would score his second Nado TD and extend the first-quarter lead to 13-0. Mistakes in the second quarter would start to mount on the Nado. After a fumbled punt return Fort Scott's offense would find the endzone to cut the lead to five 13-8 at the half.

In the third quarter, both defenses kept the offenses out of the endzone, but FKHS's Aaron Tunstall was starting to find space in the run game. In the fourth after a big Tunstall run, Neuenshander would punch it in for the third time. Tunstall would finish the game with 13 carries and 161 yards all coming in the second half. Neuenshwander had 15 carries for 34 yards and three TDs.

With the win, the Nado improve to 2-1 at home and finish 2-2 in league play for a third place finish. FKHS will take on KC Piper on the road for the first round of the 4A playoffs.
