The Independence Bulldogs are coming off back-to-back losses for the first time this season. The Bulldogs are coming off a 40-23 loss to Circle. Coach John Black talked about the loss and says that independence struggled with injury during the game and he is hopeful some will return this week. Coach Black had high praise for his offense even with the injuries.

Coach Black also talked about this week's match-up with Labette County. Independence will travel to take on Labette County this Friday as they will look to move over the .500 mark on the season. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 PM.
