KSHSAA has released its 2022-2023 District football assignments,

 

Field Kindley will play in the Western District of 4A, joining Montgomery County rival Independence.

 

Caney Valley, which will drop to 2A next season, will join District 1 alongside Neodesha, Fredonia, Cherryvale, and Riverton. Former district opponent Parsons will continue to occupy 3A District 1 with Baxter Springs, Galena, Columbus, and Frontenac.

 

Meanwhile, 8-Man remains largely unchanged, but District 1 will include Game of the Week regulars Sedan, West Elk, Oswego, Flinthills, Yates Center, and Cedar Vale/Dexter.
