The Independence Bulldogs are on a two-game winning streak after a 28-0 shutout of Fort Scott last Friday. Coach John Black talked about the kids not being overconfident coming into this week's game. Coach Black also talked about the speed Coffeyville has and how important this week's game is.
Independence will host Field Kindley this Friday as they open district play. You can listen to the game on Sunshine 98.9 KQQF with pregame starting around 6:30 and kick-off scheduled for 7 PM.
