After dispatching Oxford in Week 2, West Elk will look to make it three in a row when they face the Flinthills Mustangs on the road this week.
The Patriots looked solid in a 46-22 victory over the Wildcats, improving to 2-0 on the season. They'll face a Mustangs team that will be looking to rebound after a 60-14 loss to Sedan last Friday.
Head coach Chris Haag said the Mustangs' size is something to gameplan around.
A win over Flinthills could potentially set up a battle of 3-0 teams (alongside Sedan) for broadcast on KGGF's Game of the Week next Friday.
