It's been a good couple of weeks for Red Ravens athletics.

Football star Brenyen Scott continues to gather accolades for his stellar Week 1 performance, as the freshman defensive back has also been named the NJCAA DI Football Defensive Player of the Week.

Scott gathered 6 tackles, but most notably picked off two passes en route to helping his squad post a 17-10 victory over Hutchinson last Saturday. The Florida native sealed the game for the Ravens with an interception on the goal line that ended a potentially game-tying drive. He was also named the KJCCC Defensive Player of the Week.

Scott isn't the only Red Raven earning nationwide honors. Red Ravens netminder Cuba Grant earned both KJCCC and NJCAA Goalkeeper of the Week after allowing just 1 goal in two games. This includes a clean sheet against then-16th ranked Barton.
