A first-year Field Kindley High School coach has been honored as the school's Coach of the Year. This award is nominated by the Nado student-athletes and Head Football Coach Deonta Wade was selected as this year's recipient. Coach Wade says it meant a lot to him coming from the students.

Coach Wade says this is the highest honor he has gotten so far in his professional career. In his first year as the head coach, Wade was 1-2 in league play with a win over Chanute.
