Independence High School tennis was well represented at the state level this weekend. The boy's tennis team took home the state title.

Kale Groff won the 4A Singles Championship, Camdon Julian and Easton Morris finished third in doubles, Brecken Bertie and Ryan Stoner finished ninth in doubles and Sam Grice went two and two in his four matches.

Former Tennis Coach Ken Brown was inducted into the Kansas Tennis Coaches Hall of Fame.
