Steelers Trade Up to Draft Former West Elk Patriot

 

A former West Elk Patriot was drafted in the fifth round of the NFL Draft over the weekend. Isaiahh Loudermilk, who went to the University of Wisconsin, was taken with the 156 pick in the draft after the Pittsburgh Steelers traded up to draft him.

 

In a shortened season, as a senior Loudermilk had 13 tackles, including 2 1/2 for loss with two sacks in six starts. In 2019, he had 24 tackles, five for loss with three sacks, five pass breakups and two forced fumbles in 14 games. Loudermilk's younger brother Devin Loudermilk just finished his senior season of basketball passing the 1000 point mark and was named to the KCBA All-Star team.
