Six Independence Community College basketball players received honors from the Kansas Jayhawk Conference.

Rapuluchi Favor Ayodele Ngorka was named both the East Freshman and Defensive Player of the Year. Ngorka averaged a double-double on the season with 11.1 points and 11.9 rebounds, and helped the Pirates to a Region VI Championship and a birth to the NJCAA National Tournament.

Ngorka was also named to the All-Conference Second Team along side teammate Maisa Marcal. Delani Harris was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention Team.

On the men's side, Tim Dalger was named to the All-Conference First Team and Madison Monroe to the Second Team.
