The Field Kindley Golden Tornado golf team competed in the Pittsburg Tournament yesterday. The Nado golf team finished third for the second time this season with a score of 419, three strokes off second place. Individually, Zac Becker finished 3rd, Tyler Zimmerman 5th, Daric Voss 13th and Zane Cox 30th.
Coach Mike Peck said the course was in great shape, the greens were hard and fast, the 1st 9 holes they played with a little wind and the last 9 holes there was about a 5-10mph wind. Peck said overall they are getting better each week and next week they will be playing a lot of golf. Monday varsity will be in Ft. Scott, Tuesday the junior varsity is at home, Wednesday varsity is in Parsons and Thursday the JV is at Pittsburg.
