Troy Watson Continues Dominance at KWU, Wins 5th Tournament

Caney Valley Bullpup grad Troy Watson has dominated the KCAC as he picked up his fifth individual win of the season with a round of 74 at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Kansas Wesleyan University has been a popular landing spot for a lot of southeastern Kansas golfers with senior Logan Vacca coming from Field Kindley and then going on to play two years at CCC, another Field Kindley grad in junior Cameron Becker, and Troy Watson's younger brother, Trevor, who is in his freshman season who also went to Caney Valley.

The Coyotes finished second in the Prairie Dunes Collegiate tournament with a score of 634 (314, 320) with Bethany College beating them by just one stroke.

Up next for the Coyotes is the U.C. Ferguson Classic in Oklahoma City at Lincoln Park next Monday and Tuesday.
