The Caney Valley boys' golf team was in action in Hesston, Kansas yesterday at Hesston Golf Course.

The Bullpups represented southeast Kansas well with junior Anthony Rogers finishing in solo 4th carding an 86 with a solid back nine shooting four over par. Junior Kaden Blagg finished 15th with a 98. Junior Ethan Dean finished in 20th with a 103, senior Jacob Owens finished tied for 22nd with a 105, and senior Alex Rexwinkle finished tied for 36th with a 130.

The team overall finished fourth with a 392 team score. The Bullpups finished five strokes better than Hoisington and were 16 strokes out of third place behind Bishop Seabury with Hesston winning the tournament at home.

The Bullpups golf team is in action again on Monday in Erie.
