Neodesha Bluestreak alum Sophia Rohling earned First Team All-Conference honors with the Wichita State volleyball team.
Rohling completed her sophomore season with the Shockers as an opposite/right side hitter. She's originally from Thayer, but went to school in Neodesha. While with the Bluestreaks, she was a four-year letterman and a two-year team captain. She earned second team all-state her senior year while leading her squad to a Tri-Valley League Championship in 2018. She was also dominant on the basketball court as well being named first team all-league and honorable mention all-state her junior year. Also, she was the 3A State High Jump Champion as a junior and set the school high jump record of 5 feet, 6 inches as a junior.
She finished last season with 179 kills including 27 against Memphis. She also racked up 201 points on the year with her season-high being 28.5 also against Memphis.
